Licensing & ServicesEast Coast Auto Broker LLC represents that it holds all required licenses to perform its services and that such licenses are valid and effective at the time services are provided. The Company will act solely as a broker to arrange transportation of the Customer’s vehicle(s) through a licensed and insured carrier. The Broker will facilitate communication between the Customer and the carrier, including scheduling, tracking, and status updates. The Broker is not a motor carrier and assumes no liability for the actions, equipment, or performance of the carrier
Customer Responsibilities:Vehicle Information: The Customer must provide accurate and complete details of the vehicle(s) to be transported, including the make, model, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), current condition, and any aftermarket modifications. Special Instructions: The Customer must disclose any additional information necessary for the safe loading, transport, and unloading of the vehicle(s), such as low ground clearance, oversized components, or custom features. Vehicle Preparation: The Customer is responsible for preparing the vehicle(s) for transport, ensuring they are in operable condition unless otherwise agreed in writing. Personal Belongings: It is not recommended that personal belongings be left inside the vehicle(s) during transport. If any items are placed in the vehicle, they must not exceed one hundred (100) pounds in total weight. Such items are not covered under the carrier’s insurance policy, and their transport is at the Customer’s sole risk.
Brokerage Fee & Payment TermsThe brokerage fee and carrier rate may be paid in full when the vehicle has been confirmed assigned to a carrier and held in escrow until delivery. Alternatively, the Customer may choose to pay the carrier rate separately and directly to the driver upon delivery, while the brokerage fee remains payable before the vehicle pickup. East Coast Auto Broker LLC will coordinate payment arrangements based on the option selected by the Customer. Payment Information: A 4% service charge is added to all online payments. Accepted Payment Methods: • Online Payments – Subject to a 4% service fee. • Zelle and Apple Pay – No service fee; the 4% charge is waived for these methods- Send to: 470-580-7707 Account Name: East Coast Auto Broker- Please include your invoice number with the payment.
Vehicle DeliveryAt East Coast Auto Broker, we're excited to assist with your vehicle transport. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth delivery. While unforeseen circumstances like weather or road conditions may affect delivery timing, we promise to work closely with carriers to deliver your vehicle within two days of the predicted date. We’re committed to keeping you informed and minimizing delays.
Contract Termination & CancellationsCancellation Fee: If the Customer cancels the contract after the vehicle has been assigned to a carrier, a cancellation fee of $25 will apply. Cancellation After Carrier Arrival: If the contract is canceled after the carrier has arrived at the pickup location, or within one (1) hour of the scheduled arrival time, the Customer agrees to pay a cancellation fee, which may be assessed as a flat amount or as a percentage of the agreed-upon carrier rate, up to 20%. The exact fee will be determined at the sole discretion of the Company. Broker Exclusivity: The Customer agrees that East Coast Auto Broker LLC is the sole broker authorized to arrange transportation services for the vehicle(s). If the Customer engages another transportation company or brokerage for the same vehicle(s), this Agreement will be immediately terminated, and East Coast Auto Broker LLC will have no further obligations. The Customer acknowledges that double brokering is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Undisclosed Vehicle ConditionsIf the Customer represents the vehicle as operable but it is determined to be inoperable upon the carrier’s arrival due to undisclosed conditions, cancellation fees of up to 20% of the agreed carrier rate may apply. The carrier also reserves the right to refuse transport if the vehicle is deemed unsafe or if the carrier does not have the appropriate equipment to accommodate the vehicle as a result of such undisclosed conditions
Post-Delivery Vehicle DamageIf the Customer has any concerns or disputes regarding the condition of the vehicle upon delivery, they must notify East Coast Auto Broker LLC within 48 hours. A detailed description of the issue, along with supporting photos and/or videos, should be submitted via email. In the event of any concerns, the Customer is encouraged to review the photo inspection reports completed at both pickup and delivery. These reports will be provided to the Customer at the time of delivery.
Vehicle Ownership and AuthorizationBy signing this agreement, the Customer affirms that they are either the legal owner of the vehicle(s) included in the Customer’s transportation booking or have full authorization from the legal owner to engage East Coast Auto Broker LLC as a transportation brokerage on their behalf. The Customer accepts full responsibility for providing accurate ownership or authorization information and agrees to hold East Coast Auto Broker LLC harmless from any claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from misrepresentation of ownership or lack of proper authorization.
